Stump Removal
Ground out below grade so you can plant or mow over it
A stump left in a lawn is a mower killer, a trip hazard, and a place for carpenter ants and honey fungus to set up. We grind them out below grade — deep enough to get sod down, deeper if you want to plant something back in the same spot — and we chase the surface roots that run out into the lawn instead of stopping at the trunk. You choose whether the grindings stay as backfill or go with us and the hole comes back as topsoil.
Our Process
Locate Utilities
Anything buried gets marked before a grinder wheel goes near the ground. This step is not optional.
Free Written Price
Priced on the diameter and what's around it, with the backfill choice priced either way.
Grind It Out
The stump and its surface roots are ground below grade so nothing is left to sprout or catch a mower.
Backfill & Clean
Grindings go back in or leave with us, the area is levelled, and the surrounding lawn is blown clean.
